Proscar is a medicine that used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with the enlarged prostate. It improves BPH symptoms such as difficult urination, and normally Proscar reduces the possible prostate surgery chances.

How Taken

Normally it is one tablet of Proscar per day, with or without meal. We suggest taking Proscar at the same time each day for the maximum effect. The recommended daily dosage is a 5 mg tablet.

More Information

Proscar prevents the conversion of testosterone into the dihydro-testosterone (DHT), which is involved in the development of benign prostatic hyperplasia. In many countries Proscar is registered for androgenetic alopecia (it is male-pattern baldness).
